What are Ceramic Coatings?

Ceramic coatings are a type of protective coating that is applied to your car's exterior in liquid form and then cures and hardens. This futuristic solution is composed of nano ceramic particles that bond with your car's paint, forming a strong layer of protection that can last for extended periods of time.

Longevity

Ceramic coatings are designed to last for a long time when installed correctly. The longevity of this sacrificial layer is key to preserving the appearance and value of your vehicle for years to come.

Easy Maintenance

Our coatings create a super-hydrophobic layer on your car’s surface, making it easier to stay cleaner for longer in the sometimes harsh elements of Springdale. This helps prevent hard water spots and dirt from penetrating and becoming trapped in your paint’s pores.

What You Can Expect From Our
Ceramic Coating Service

Many people are familiar with waxes and sealants, and they are still a preferred method for many to quickly add shine and depth to their cars. However, these outdated products, while sometimes compared to ceramic coatings, are not in the same league. A ceramic coating creates a super-hard sacrificial barrier that significantly reduces the effects of Springdale’s harsh environment from damaging your investment, while waxes and sealants are primarily for appearance. Although some claim coatings can "bulletproof" a car’s exterior, that's simply not the case.

Ceramic coatings are often harder than your car's paint and clear coat, making it more difficult to cause scratches and swirls. While they can still occur over time, especially if the car isn’t cared for properly, the good news is that, when you’re ready to correct scratches and swirls again, you won’t have to cut into your car's paint the way you would before the coating was applied.

Every time minor damage is corrected in your paint, a thin layer is essentially removed to reveal a fresh finish. Here’s something else you might not know: car manufacturers are applying less and less paint to vehicles each year, and in many cases, using softer paint. This means damage happens more easily and scratches can go deeper, but with a ceramic coating, these concerns are minimized.

Not only does ceramic coating offer more protection than waxes or sealants, but it also lasts significantly longer. Waxes can last anywhere from a few weeks to, at most, a couple of months, while quality sealants may last up to 6 months at best before reapplication is necessary. However, with our ceramic coatings, it's a one-time application that can last a minimum of 2 years and, when properly cared for, up to 5 years. This will save you both time and money in the long run.

To maximize the value of your ceramic coating and achieve its extended lifespan, regular maintenance is essential. Stay away from automatic car washes, as they can quickly cause swirl marks and often use low-quality cleaning solutions that break down the coating’s hydrophobic properties. At best, you can use a touchless car wash, but we strongly recommend scheduling maintenance washes with us or our trusted partners to ensure the coating stays in peak condition.

While this might sound inconvenient, the super-hydrophobic nature of the coating makes it much harder for dirt and grime to stick to your car's surface. Depending on your environment, how often you drive, and whether your car is kept outside, you should find yourself cleaning your car far less often. Not only will your car stay cleaner, but cleaning it will also be easier, resulting in less aggressive washing and more affordable maintenance, saving you both time and money.

If you're looking for a way to protect your car from dirt, grime, and the harsh climate of Northwest Arkansas while elevating its appearance and making it easier to keep clean, all without breaking the bank, then ceramic coating is absolutely your best option! However, if you want the closest thing to 100% protection and budget isn’t a concern, then Paint Protection Film (PPF) is the way to go.

Which service is right for me?

Choosing between a 1-step paint correction and a 2-step paint correction depends on the condition of your vehicle's paint and your desired results. If your car's paint has minor swirls, scratches, and imperfections, a 1-step correction might be sufficient to restore its shine and remove surface defects. On the other hand, a 2-step correction is more comprehensive and suitable for paintwork with moderate to severe damages. If you seek a more polished and showroom-ready appearance, the 2-step correction is the ideal choice.
